about me

I was born and grew up in Belfast and gained an honours degree in Art and Dance at Goldsmith's College, University of London.  After completing my PGCE at Stranmillis College, Queens University Belfast, I taught Art and Art History to International Bacalaureate and A Level standard, while continuing to paint in my spare time. Summer  months are often spent in Ireland, and in particular on the west coast where I paint the magnificent scenery en plein air.  I have exhibited at group exhibitions and one women shows in Cork, Waterford, Dublin, Belfast, London and New York. At present I live in the Lake District in England with my husband the potter Neil Adcock, a small flock of Orpington hens, a Welsh pony, two Ragdoll cats and about 8 hives full of honey bees.
